Arkansas does not have an executive order or mandate for COVID-19 testing or vaccination for public employers and schools. State and public organizations including employers, schools, and health institutions are banned from mandating COVID-19 vaccination or testing as a condition of enrollment or employment.
State and Public employers are encouraged to follow CDC’S guidance on COVID-19 testing and returning to work/school. Private employers, schools, and healthcare facilities not that are not affiliated or overseen by state or federal government may mandate COVID-19 testing and vaccination as part of enrollment or employment requirements.
Furthermore, private businesses and schools may mandate COVID-19 vaccination or passport as part of enrollment or to provide services. This is up to the discretion of each private business owner who offers a product or service or private educational institution if they will require COVID-19 vaccination passports or verifications to consumers to receive services.
